Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across this website and karmikarchitect.com, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
What we do
- Text and controls are designed to meet contrast requirements in both the light and dark themes.
- When your device asks for more contrast, translucent glass surfaces turn solid with visible edges.
- When your device asks for reduced motion, animations stop.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring and a “skip to content” link.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content; layouts adapt to narrow screens.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Consultations are audio calls with an in-app text chat beside them; with consent, a written transcript is provided afterwards.
Known limitations
- Some older course videos do not yet have captions. We are adding them.
- Charts are visual by nature; the app also presents every placement as a readable table.
- Content from outside services, such as YouTube and payment checkouts, is outside our control.
