Policy

Privacy policy

What personal data we collect across our website, the Karmik Architect app, our academy, our consultations and our research; why we collect it; who sees it; how long we keep it; and the rights you have over it.

Effective 7 October 2026

In short

  • We collect only what each service needs: an account, the birth details that make a chart, and what you choose to share when you book or speak with a practitioner.
  • We never sell personal data, never show advertising, and never track you across other companies' apps or websites.
  • Calls are recorded only with your consent; the audio is deleted once it has been transcribed.
  • Outside your booking you appear under a pseudonym of two Sanskrit words, never your name.
  • You can see, correct, delete or take back consent to your data at any time, and you can delete your account from inside the app.
  • Our services are for people aged 18 and over.

Who we are

Parimarjit Healthcare Private Limited (CIN U86909GJ2023PTC144405), registered office 73, Kasturba Mahila Society, P P Patiya, Rander, Surat, Gujarat 395005, India (“we”, “us”, “our”), is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the rules made under it. We decide why and how that data is processed, and we are accountable for it.

How we protect data inside the company, including security, breach response and retention, is set out in our data protection policy.

What this policy covers

  • this website, parimarjithealthcare.org, and the addresses that redirect to it;
  • the Karmik Architect app for Android, iPhone, iPad and Mac, and the same app running in a web browser;
  • karmikarchitect.com, including the astrotherapist directory, booking, shared chart links and courses;
  • consultations booked through our platform, our academy and our research programme.

The app has its own screen-by-screen privacy policy with more technical detail. The two are written to agree; where one is more specific, that detail applies, and neither reduces your rights under law.

  • Data Principal (“you”): the person the data is about.
  • Data Processor: a company that handles personal data for us, on our instructions.
  • Pseudonym: a name of two Sanskrit words, such as “Dhira Rohini”, that stands in for your real name in transcripts, research notes and ratings.

Mental health and other sensitive information

What you share in a consultation may concern your mental or physical health, relationships or beliefs. We treat it as sensitive, keep it within the booking, and protect it with the safeguards required for sensitive personal data under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. It is never sent to the AI providers that answer chart questions.

Research

  • Charts calculated on our server join our research corpus with the name removed.
  • A structured summary of a consultation joins it under your pseudonym only if you consent at booking.
  • A consultation is published as an anonymous case study only with a third consent, asked after the call.
  • Withdrawing a consent removes the entry or unpublishes the case.

Details are in our research ethics and data policy.

AI features

  • The chart assistant sends your question and your chart to an outside AI provider through OpenRouter, never your name. We do not keep the conversation.
  • Call transcription sends consented call audio to a speech-to-text model through OpenRouter; the audio is then deleted.
  • Continue with AI prepares a message with your chart that you choose to hand to an AI app on your device; that app's own terms then apply.
